FloorView|Mode: Replay

Watch your
customers shop.

Analytics tools are great at summarising data. FloorView does something different: it replays customer sessions as figures walking a 3D shop floor built from your real catalogue, anonymised, and fully replayable.

Why we built it

In a physical store, you can watch someone browse

You notice someone lingering near the roof racks. You walk over. You say something. Online, that moment just does not exist. You have charts and tables that tell you someone visited a page, how long they stayed, whether they bounced. But they do not show you the story.

FloorView tries to close that gap. It takes the events you are already tracking, page views, searches, vehicle filters, add-to-carts, and replays them as a journey through an actual shop floor.

Your category tree becomes the floor plan. One building per top-level category, subcategories as aisles, third-level categories as bays. Each tracked session becomes a figure walking that floor.

What gets tracked

Twelve kinds of moment, all on the floor

These come from the behaviour tracking already running on your storefront. Nothing extra to install. Each one shows up as a dot on the scrubber and a row in the session panel.

Replay a finished day, or watch it happen

FloorView started as a pure replay of sessions that had already happened. It has grown since: watch the site live instead of after the fact, colour the shelves by stock or conversion, dress the campus up, and — for a screen with no mouse in reach — drive the whole thing with your hands.

Replay Timeline

Scrub through a finished day with play, pause, skip-quiet-periods and event jumping. The scrubber dots show you where things happened before you get there.

Visitor Selection

Click any figure to see their full journey: which pages they visited, what they searched for, which products they opened, and the exact route drawn on the floor beside them.

Zoom-Aware Labels

Category signs and product thumbnails scale with the camera so you can read the floor whether you're looking at the whole campus or zoomed into a single bay.

Dark Mode

The scene renders in full dark mode. The light trails and bloom look quite good after hours.

Five Marker Types

Filter the scrubber by event kind: product views, searches, cart additions, checkouts, and vehicle selections. Turn off the ones you're not interested in.

Follow on Select

Selecting a visitor zooms the camera in and centres on them. The scene keeps them in view as they move.

Live Mode

Switch from Replay to Live and watch who's on the site right now. It runs about ten seconds behind on purpose, so visitors walk to their next stop instead of jumping shelf to shelf.

Gesture Control

Turn on your webcam and drive the whole page with your hands: pinch to click, a fist to pan the floor, spread your fingers to rotate and zoom. Built for a screen nobody has a keyboard near.

Stock & Conversion Views

Colour every shelf by what's actually in stock, or by how often looking at something in that aisle turns into a sale, graded against the rest of the store for the day.

Day Trace

Every visitor's whole route drawn at once and held still, so the busiest stretches of the floor are obvious before you even hit play.

A Living Campus

Trees, a small lake with ducks on it, benches outside the doors, buildings at slightly different heights. An optional layer of dressing that never touches an aisle sign or a stock colour.

Shareable Visits

Selecting a visitor puts them in the address bar, so a link can point someone straight at that customer, on that day, paused at the moment they arrived.

Phase 2 and beyond

What comes next

Preview

Live Intervention

Push a voucher, redirect to a product, or drop something straight into their cart while they're still on the site. Live in the demo as a preview, where most offers get refused on purpose — it's worth seeing what doesn't land before wiring this up for real.

Planned

Period Aggregation

Right now everything reads a single day. To spot trends you need to compare weeks. The rollup tables that make that possible are designed but not yet built.

Planned

Advice and Inspect

Once there is enough aggregated data, FloorView could just tell you what is worth acting on. Which aisles are dead ends, which products get abandoned at the same point. This needs period aggregation first.

Have a look around

The demo runs on a synthetic catalogue with generated sessions, so there are no real customers in it. Hit play, scrub the timeline, click a figure.

FloorView Replay and Live are both live. Live intervention is in preview.
